Situated alongside the A66 with easy access East & West, Appleby Golf Club can only be described as an 'Inland Links' course, The Open Champion, Willie Fernie used the contours of the land and the heather and bracken features to create our course to great effect.
Sitting on a bedrock of Sandstone, Appleby is free draining so is playable all year round, which is a rare thing in Cumbria! The greens are renowned for offering the best throughout the year.
Penrith Golf Club is a beautiful, long established parkland course located on Beacon Hill above Penrith which offers fabulous views over the Lake District Fells.

Depending upon your requirements, arrangements can be made with the Professionals, or alternatively you can book a tee time online. The beautiful, accessible parkland course is achievable for high handicappers and challenging for low handicappers.
Riverside Golf Club is a picturesque course in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It enjoys an idyllic setting, nestling under the Howgill fells in the village of Ravenstonedale. The course takes the driving out of golf. Riverside is a unique 18 hole, 9 green, small course specialising in par-3 short holes with character 70-140 yard fairways.
It is perfect for practising short game and is set in a beautiful wooded location it is a delight to play. With undulating greens amid beautiful scenery in a peaceful setting surrounded by red squirrels, its hard to find a more stunning couse.
